Authentication Services
We use Supabase for authentication and Google OAuth for sign-in services. When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) as permitted by your Google account settings.
AI and Chat Features
Our AI-powered chat feature processes your messages to provide travel recommendations. Chat conversations are stored to improve our services and provide personalized experiences.
We use Google Gemini API for AI processing. By using the AI-powered chat, you consent to your messages being processed by third-party AI systems (e.g., Google Gemini API) to provide personalized travel suggestions.
How AI processing works:
- You send a message with travel preferences
- Message is processed by Google Gemini API
- Personalized recommendations are generated
- Response is delivered within the app
Location Services
With your permission, we collect location data to:
- Provide location-based recommendations
- Enhance itinerary planning

You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
Collaborative Features
When you share itineraries or collaborate with others, the shared content becomes visible to invited participants. You control who can access your collaborative itineraries.

In-App Account Deletion
If you can access the TripwiseGO app, you can delete your account directly from the app settings.
How it works:
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Confirm your email address
- Optionally provide a reason for deletion
- Your account will be scheduled for deletion in 7 days
- You can cancel the deletion during the grace period
Email-Based Deletion Request
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion via email.

- Submit your account email address
- Receive a verification email (expires in 24 hours)
- Click the verification link to confirm deletion
- Account scheduled for deletion in 7 days

What Gets Deleted
Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our systems:
